Los Roques


The Los Roques archipelago, the greatest Caribbean barrier reef, it is located 150 Km north of the venezuelan capital, Caracas .

It’s composed of approximately three hundred islands rounded by a barrier reef, which makes  the water peaceful and transparent.
The beautiful white sand with the transparent sea  create a fascinating array of colors.

Many birds, fish and sea turtles lives in The Los Roques archipelago witch was declared a  Natural Park in 1972.
The fishermen live only on four islands; the Gran Roque island, homes most of theme and is a charming little town.

For envaironmental conservation, hotel construction is forbidden, this is one of the many reasons Los Roques is a highly pleasurable destination for tourists 

The weather it’s perfect all year round, since it rains very seldom.
Traveling around the island with the sailing boat, is the most beautiful way to discover
Los Roques
